Grotto open 2nd of December to 24th December (Closed 4th,5th,11th and 12th December)

This year children will enter Father Christmas’ new magical Grotto after being greeted by his festive little helpers. In groups of 4 children they will enter the Grotto, where either Mrs Claus or one of her team will read the children a magical story. From here they will enter Father Christmas’ Lounge. Each child will get to tell Father Christmas what they would like to find under their sparkly tree on Christmas morning. Every child will receive a special scroll and gift for being ‘nice’ all year before exiting onto Christmas Street and enjoying the rest of their day.
Each child (excluding infants without a ticket) will receive one present suitable for their age.
If you wish to take more than 2 Adults into the Grotto, further Child Tickets must be purchased (1 Child Ticket allows 2 Adults through) – please ensure you purchase enough tickets for everyone who will be joining you as additional tickets may not be available on the day.
Adults are welcome to take cameras into the Grotto to take their own photographs.
The Grotto is located in the centre of Whitefriars square, 14 Gravel Walk, Canterbury, Kent CT1 2TF.

Do infants need a ticket?
If you wish to take an infant through our magical Grotto Experience with another fee-paying child AND you do not wish the baby to receive a present then a ticket for the infant is not required. If however, the infant is the only child or if you wish the infant to receive a present, a ticket is required.
Do adults have to pay?
No – a maximum of two adults can accompany each child through our Magical Grotto Experience FREE OF CHARGE.
However if you wish to take more than 2 Adults into the Grotto, further Child Tickets must be purchased (1 Child Ticket allows 2 Adults through) – please ensure you purchase enough tickets for everyone who will be joining you as additional tickets may not be available on the day.
What if it snows and I can’t travel?
In extreme weather conditions such as heavy snowfall, we will attempt to re-schedule your tickets to a mutually agreed date and time. If we are unable to reach such an agreement we will refund your ticket in full: please allow 2-3 days for refunds to show on your statement.
Will I receive a booking confirmation?
You will receive an automated booking confirmation email immediately following payment and this will form your ticket, please print this out and bring with you to gain entry. If you do not receive your booking confirmation for the Grotto visit, please email: email@example.com
To receive ticket confirmation in the post, please specify this in the ‘comments’ box during checkout.
Bookings are NON-REFUNDABLE and only valid for the event and time shown on the ticket.
